At the Rio Stava Family Resort & SPA, we strive to win our guests over with an unforgettable holiday experience amid the pristine natural surroundings of Val di Fiemme! Our hotel is surrounded by a 10,000 m2 park, where guests can enjoy the great outdoors in complete freedom and safety, and go for a pleasant swim in the organic lake, surrounded by the breathtaking alpine greenery.

For those who like to relax by the pool, this is the ideal place. In fact, here guests will find a fantastic swimming pool area complete with an indoor pool heated to 31°, which is connected to the 34° outdoor hot tub, not to mention a picturesque Whirlpool Grotto with 35° water, and a 34° children’s pool, complete with a mushroom water feature and a slide.

At the Rio Stava, we have a mission: to allow our guests completely disconnect from everyday life and pamper themselves, and to look after their children over 2 years of age, with 8 hours of fun and educational activities every day. The entertainment staff look after our guests’ children in the magical World of Salvanèl (the legendary elf of the Dolomites, who loves to hide around the hotel and play pranks on guests), organising creative games and guided nature excursions for the entire family.

Guests can even share the Spa experience with their children, whether in the Bio Sauna for families, or with pleasant wellness treatments for babies and teens. Otherwise, they can be entrusted to the care of our entertainment staff while their parents take the opportunity to enjoy some spa time on their own, whether in the Turkish bath, the herbal sauna, the infrared sauna, the panoramic sauna, the special relaxation rooms (the rooms with suspended beds, the lounge with canopy beds, or the room for saline vapour inhalation), or with any one of the available spa treatments.

Pack light and without any worries, knowing that you’ll find everything you need for your children right here: everything needed for weaning, high chairs and baby cutlery, baby bath tub, changing table, potties and potty training seats, bottle warmers, beds with side rails, baby carrier backpacks, country strollers, and city strollers.

Hey kids! Did you know that the friendly elf Salvanèl is hiding out at the hotel? He’s really funny, and is always ready to play tricks and invent new games (don’t tell anyone… but he’s the one who tells our entertainment staff what kinds of activities to organise)!

So get ready for 8 fantastic hours of “magical fun”, every day from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.! With group activities, themed workshops, evening shows, and baby dance parties, not to mention summer and winter excursions to be enjoyed together with mum and dad.

There are lots of spacious areas dedicated specifically to children, so they can enjoy playing in complete freedom, including an outdoor playground surrounded by the mountains, colourful indoor rooms equipped to accommodate different age groups, a heated children’s pool, a small lake that’s safe for swimming, and even a family sauna.

Baby Club

Children up to 2 years of age have a colourful soft play area at their disposal, with lots of developmental toys and plush animals. Upon request, we even organise water safety courses, and there’s even a babysitting service available for a fee if parents want to enjoy a romantic evening alone together.

Mini Club

The World of Salvanèl Mini Club is open to all children over 2 years of age every day from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The activities and play areas are divided based on the children’s specific needs and age groups. The entertainment staff organise workshops in the creative area, as well as group games and sports activities, including climbing, mini football tournaments, and individual swimming lessons, not to mention the evening shows and baby dance parties.

Junior Club

For older children there’s the Junior games room, with billiards, foosball, table tennis, Nintendo Wii, a pinball machine, and air hockey. We even organise sports tournaments, group games, and guided nature hikes.

We like to turn the dining experience into a special feast for the entire family (and cater to every child’s whim!) The days begin with a large breakfast buffet, where guests can choose from sweets, pies, focaccia, various types of bread, local cured meats and cheeses, yoghurt, eggs, and fruit, and even organic options.

Upon returning from their activities, guests can recharge their batteries with a delicious snack, served from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., featuring homemade sweets, pizzas, focaccia, cheeses, and fresh fruit.

In the evenings, we amaze our guests with 4 menus to choose from, featuring traditional entrées prepared with a modern twist, all accompanied by a large buffet of appetisers, salads, vegetables, fruits and cheeses. Water, wine and self-service soft drinks are included.

There are even special children’s menus for our younger guests, who can eat with the entertainment staff in the dedicated dining room. And for parents with weaning infants? They can sit back and relax, while our kitchen staff prepare everything they need for their babies, including baby foods, purées, broths, rice, corn and tapioca creams, meat and fish purées, vegetables and fruit, boiled and minced white meats and beef, and fruit smoothies.
