Description
Welcome to our alpine village, the first of its kind in South Tyrol! Here at the Post Alpina Family Mountain Chalet, in San Candido, everything is designed to ensure the happiness and well-being of people of all ages. We’re located directly on the slopes of the 3 Peaks Dolomiti ski area, in an area that’s perfect for hiking as well.
For children, there’s a whole world of fun to be discovered together with our entertainment staff, and the hotel’s friendly mascot, Pina. Every day, our staff look after our guests’ children over 3 years of age, offering lots of activities at the Mini and Teenie Clubs, divided into age groups, as well as at Pina’s Creative Workshop, where they can create all sorts of treasures and works of art, or do some cooking all together. For our littlest guests, we offer a dedicated room, complete with a soft swing, giant Legos, and much more. And since older kids also need a place to have fun and make friends, we created our Teenie-Lounge, which features a Playstation, air hockey, Wii, and a multi-touch computer table.
There’s also plenty of space to play outdoors at the Pina Playground, with the swings, slide, sunken trampoline, and activity circuit: a perfect place for children to have lots of fun in contact with nature.
Here at the Post Alpina, we offer family-friendly wellness services, so guests won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to enjoy some rest and relaxation at our Vita Alpina wellness centre after a fun day of hiking. The amenities include a family sauna, an indoor pool connected to the outdoor pool heated to 31°C, and a super pool for children and infants heated to 32°C, complete with animal-shaped fountains, toys, and a small tractor-slide. For mum and dad, there’s the Cristallo steam sauna, the Primavera tepidarium, the Alpina Finnish sauna, the outdoor Finnish sauna, loungers for relaxing in the outdoor sauna, a Silence Room with heated water beds, and a fitness area.
Here, we’re all about flexibility! We leave it up to our guests to decide what kind of holiday experience they prefer: a relaxing stay in our exclusive suites, with all the hotel’s services and amenities included, or the freedom of our elegant mountain chalets, with the Aparthotel formula? Those who choose to stay in one of our apartments can customise their services, and decide whether to make their own meals, or to book breakfast and dinner at the hotel! Our rooms and chalets are specifically designed for families, and come complete with everything needed for children and infants, in order to allow our guests to travel light.
But the surprises don’t end there! During the summertime, we offer a programme 6 days a week made up of excursions and activities dedicated to exploring the Three Peaks region of the Dolomites, together with our alpine guide.

Here at the Post Alpina, there are plenty of areas for children to play: the Mini Club, the Baby Club for our littlest guests under 3 years of age, the Teenie Lounge with a Playstation, air hockey, Wii, and a multi-touch computer table, Pina’s Creative Workshop, where children can engage in craft activities and cooking challenges, the Theatre Room with its big screen, and the fantastic Pina’s Playground area. Our entertainment programme is offered 7 days a week, both indoors and outdoors, with lots of fun activities divided by age groups. |
Mini Club
Every day, our friendly entertainment staff keep our guests’ children over 3 years of age entertained from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The programme includes a wide range of activities, including outdoor activities dedicated to exploring nature and discovering animal tracks, sledging adventures, films in the Theatre Room, Olympics competitions in the snow, and much more.
Teen Club
For entertaining the older kids, there are many sports and outdoor activities and on their return, there is our teenie-lounge so they can relax and have fun with the play station, air hockey, Wi-Fi, multi-touch screen computer table to play together and make new friends. In the San Candido family hotel, there is no time to get bored!
