We are committed to always offering you only the best: a swimming pool for adults and children, a well-equipped gym and a wellness centre with relaxing massages and rejuvenating treatments, a restaurant with high-level cuisine, a bar for coffee and aperitifs, themed evenings and it’s also possible to bring your four-legged friends with you.
Day after day, your children can have a world of fun at the Mini Club along with our expert entertainment staff, who also organise super entertainment evenings for adults and children at the Cala Saracena Resort.
We aren’t offering you simple hotel rooms for your stay, but two-room apartments that can accommodate up to four beds, also with the hotel formula. In the welcoming central lobby, you can taste our delicious aperitifs or read a good book. Then there’s the roof-garden with deckchairs and beach umbrellas for moments of relaxation and sunbathing.
Near the Cala Saracena Resort, you can enjoy the splendid beaches and clear seawater at Torre Vado, stroll along the romantic pedestrian promenade with the sound of the waves in the background, or venture as far as the marina or the amusement park, to the children’s delight!
The beach is nearby and you can find all the services suitable for families at the affiliated lido. We offer bike rentals by booking and we propose lovely excursions and activities for discovering Salento, its magnificent coasts and its distinctive inland area.

EntertainmentWhat would a family holiday be without entertainment? From Sunday to Friday we take care of your children and involve them in games, recreational activities and shows, for around 8 hours of fantastic entertainment! It all starts in the morning after breakfast, from 10 am to 12.30 pm, then again in the afternoon from 4.30 pm to 7 pm and after dinner with a non-stop magical moment from 9.30 pm to midnight. Then off to bed… but only to recharge your batteries for the next day! Our entertainment staff organizes games, mini cooking workshops and creative workshops and face painting; there are also balloon sculptures, moments of magic and the ever-present puppet show, with fantastic, timeless stories that make adults and children dream. Of course, there’s no lack of tournaments and board games. In short, every day at Cala Saracena is filled with happiness and fun! |
Mini Club
It usually takes place outdoors (unless it’s too hot!) and is designed for children aged 4 and up.
There are lots of engaging activities available: the children make beautiful drawings, create pretty bracelets, play together and dive into the pool, with a lot of splashing and laughter! Once a week we also organise a cute little show starring the children.
Junior Club
It is held at the hotel, usually in the open air, except on very hot days, and it’s aimed at children aged 11 and over. Catchword: exciting challenges! We organise table football tournaments, table tennis matches or enthralling board games.

Our chef and our cooks bring a rich and varied menu to your table. First and second courses are served at the table with a meat or fish alternative for each course. Appetisers, fruit and dessert are served buffet style. We offer mostly typical local dishes like broad bean and chicory purée, ciciri e tria (a pasta and chickpea dish) and rustic potato pitta bread. However, if you don't like Salento cuisine, don’t worry, there are always traditional Italian dishes, made with the same care and passion. There’s also a baby menu available for children, which varies on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the period. We organise themed evenings in July and August, after dinner, and we offer treats like popcorn, candyfloss and pancakes for example. Breakfast is in the dining room, with buffet service. You’ll find both sweet (made by our pastry chef) and savoury options: doughnuts, biscuits, cakes, tarts, yoghurt, cereals, rolls, melba toast, ham, salami and cheese. To drink: fruit juices, flavoured water, milk, tea, coffee. |
