Description
At the La Buca del Gatto Family Village we welcome families who want to enjoy a fun-filled holiday by the sea in Tuscany, with dedicated services, entertainment, sport… and special moments to share together! Our family village is surrounded by the Cecina pine forest on the Etruscan Coast and is characterised by safe spaces with large outdoor areas that are always monitored.
The sea is just a stone’s throw away and you can easily get to it on foot with your children. In this way, each day you can choose whether to enjoy the beach (the service is included!) or the 3 hotel pools, one of which is an indoor pool.
At our family village, the days are filled with fun, but always with the right balance between relaxation and tranquillity. Entertainment on the beach and in the hotel keeps the children amused with activities for different age groups, giving parents a chance to relax, recharge their batteries with a Kneipp path surrounded by greenery, enjoy bike rides and sports activities, taking advantage of the five-a-side football fields, tennis courts, cage football, volleyball, basketball, pickleball or mini-golf,available to guests.
One of the places children love the most is the Gatto Park – a green oasis of joy and creativity – with games, tables and shaded areas, where they can meet each other, play together and participate in workshops. Everything is always under the watchful eye of our entertainment team.
If you’re travelling with your four-legged friends, La Buca del Gatto Family Village is the ideal choice, because pets are always welcome. We are also an eco-village, as we are constantly committed to environmental sustainability, aiming to preserve nature and teach children the value of ecology, even on holiday.

They have two floors linked by an internal staircase and are a popular solution especially for those travelling with older children. They include a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a second bedroom with a double bed, two bathrooms and two balconies; a kitchenette is available on request.

From June to mid-September, the entertainment team organises 6 days filled with activities and evening shows!
The morning begins with activities on the beach: games on the sand, recreational moments, sports tournaments and outdoor fun for the children, while their parents can relax and enjoy the sea. There’s no lack of activities even for those families who prefer to stay inside the village and enjoy the 3 fantastic pools.
At the Gatto Park, the splendid themed playground in the shade of the pine forest, children can participate in group games, creative workshops and themed activities.
The day draws to a close with evening entertainment: baby dance, open air cinema, shows, games and events designed to end the day with joy and smiles. This much-anticipated moment for children also becomes an opportunity for the whole family to connect.
For the littlest children there is also a playground near the restaurant, a solution that families appreciate, because it allows children to carry on playing while their parents enjoy their meals in peace.
The Mini Club is dedicated to children aged 4 years and over, allowing them to feel free to play, create and spend time together in a safe environment that’ always supervised by the entertainment staff. The heart of the activities is the Gatto Park, which is equipped with games, tables and chairs and is ideal for spending time outdoors even during the hottest hours. In the afternoon, snack time is an opportunity for the children to socialise and share some time together.
Junior Club
The Junior Club is designed for children who want to move, challenge each other and spend time together through sports and active play. We provide numerous sports areas, which become the ideal meeting place for making new friends and enjoying an active holiday.
Youngsters can participate in games and tournaments on the five-a-side football field, try cage football or pickleball, challenge each other at 18-hole minigolf, play volleyball, basketball and tennis, or have fun with timeless activities like table tennis, table football and human table football.

Simplicity, variety, freshness and quality: every day we take you on a culinary journey featuring the finest regional specialities prepared with love.
The buffet breakfast is served from 7.30 am to 10 am with different types of croissant, cakes and pastries and savoury options. Lunch and dinner are served buffet style, with a wide choice of seafood and meat dishes, as well as vegetarian options. During high season, we also have a Tuscan Evening, an opportunity to savour the flavours of local tradition in a friendly atmosphere.
In summer, children can dine at the Mini Club with the entertainment staff, in a dedicated area of the restaurant: a much-loved experience for both the children, who can eat and have fun together, and their parents, who can relax and enjoy our dishes in peace.
