Cascina il Faggio is the country house that we’ve created for families in Valdilana, in the heart of the Oasi Zegna, in a hillside location with a panoramic view of the Piedmont countryside. It only has 10 rooms and emerged from an active agricultural tradition that still defines its most authentic character. Here, natureis a trusted friend, accompanying your children throughout every moment of the day!
Children can participate in farming activities, visit the greenhouses, watch the changing seasons and take part in creative workshops inspired by rural life. We organise these moments mainly in the afternoon, 6 days a week, to leave your family the right amount of time for sharing walks, exploring the area and relaxing. In fact, the heated outdoor pool with jacuzzi is very popular: it offers a beautiful view of the valley and is surrounded by sun loungers, beach umbrellas and shaded areas.
Cascina il Faggio is the perfect setting for holidays in Piedmont with children of all ages: the spaces are reassuring and well-organised, the garden is large but not overwhelming, the pool is easy to keep an eye on and the indoor and outdoor play areas are safe.
Parents can enjoy an intimate and welcoming spa, which can be booked privately: an indoor relaxation pool heated to 32° C – with hydromassage and a neck massage waterfall – sauna, Turkish bath, salt room and a lavender-infused tepidarium. This allows you to enjoy some quiet time while the children take part in activities or have fun outdoors.
Staying at Cascina il Faggio means combining experiences at the farmstead with family time and exploring the surrounding area along the easy trails in the Oasi Zegna or spending a day at the Veglio Adventure Park or the Adventure Woods. In short, a holiday that combines nature, simplicity and shared time with the serenity of always feeling that you’re in the right place with your family!

At Cascina il Faggio, the entertainment follows the rhythm of nature: not a traditional Mini Club, but an experience linked to rural life and farming, inviting children to engage with the land in an authentic and never intrusive way.
We mainly organise activities in the afternoon, from 4 pm to 8 pm,6 days a week. In this way, families can enjoy a balanced day without sacrificing precious time together!
During the summer, we involve children in visits to the greenhouses, exploring cultivation areas, with moments dedicated to seasonality and small creative workshops inspired by the countryside. In this way, they can observe, experiment, ask questions and actively participate, all within a simple and natural setting.
During winter, at weekends and during long weekends, the activities move indoors, where we organise creative workshops linked to local produce and the cycles of nature, very popular with families.
Children can have fun in the safety of the outdoor playground and the indoor games room, challenging each other at basketball and five-a-side football, always surrounded by greenery, with the luxury of running free, playing in the open air and truly experiencing a holiday in contact with nature!

In the kitchen, we use ingredients based on the natural cycle of the seasons, preferably locally-grown, including both our own products and products from trusted small-scale producers.
The buffet breakfast is a morning treat to welcome the day: baked goods, bread, jams, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit and hot drinks. The service is relaxed and informal, with an atmosphere that always makes families feel at ease.
At lunch, you are free to decide whether to eat at the pool bar, choosing quick, simple dishes, perfect for a break between a rural activity and a dip in the water. This gives you the flexibility to organise your day according to your family’s natural rhythm.
At dinner, which is included in the half board option, we serve dishes inspired by regional tradition. During the week, we also organise evenings dedicated to Piedmont wines: a friendly occasion allowing parents to learn about and taste the local wines in a relaxed setting.
