Amid the backdrop of the Apuan Alps, the Hermitage Hotel & Resort in Forte dei Marmi stands surrounded by greenery, welcoming guests with spacious rooms, bright colours, an immense park with a swimming pool, and a wonderful private beach with lots of amenities, and is the ideal place to spend a family holiday in Tuscany’s splendid Versilia region. Children can have lots of fun at our large playground, where they can run around undisturbed in total safety, complete with slides, wooden houses, a shaded sandbox, and a volleyball court, or else can spend their time splashing around in the pool area, where there’s a small children’s pool just for them.
Guests in search of personal wellness and relaxation can spend their days relaxing at the fantastic heated salt water pool with a hot tub, or at the Augustus Beach Club private beach area, which features 74 well-spaced beach umbrellas, complete with sun loungers and deck chairs, where they can admire the view where the turquoise of the sea meets the greenery of the Tuscan countryside.
Our cuisine adapts to the rhythms of the seasons, and consists of traditional Mediterranean-inspired flavours, as well as international variants. Our Extraordinary Chef offers our Little Guests dishes designed to satisfy the tastes of people of all ages, complete with special and personalised menu items made with genuine local products and ingredients taken directly from our garden.

Our enormous park area is a Playground dedicated entirely to our younger guests! A real natural paradise where they can run around undisturbed, in complete safety, complete with toys suitable for all ages, including slides, wooden houses, a shaded sandbox, and a volleyball court where they can organise endless tournaments. And the fun continues at the children’s pool, in the play area on the beach, and even at the table, with special children’s menu items and lots of delicious seasonal products to be discovered from our garden. |
Baby Club
Parents can have fun with their little ones in the large room adjacent to the dining hall dedicated entirely to them, complete with basic motor skills games, colouring materials, and soft mats.
For kids over three years of age, there’s "Kids Time", where they’ll find activities organised specifically for them by our entertainment staff.
A paid babysitting service is available upon reservation for our littlest guests.
Mini Club
Lots of fun activities are organised on the private beach at the Augustus Beach Club, at the children’s pool, and in the Hotel’s huge fantastic park, where our little guests can play happily among the grass, water and sand, and take part in lots of artistic initiatives, including painting and sculpture lessons, and creative and cooking workshops.
Children can also discover the wonders of our lush vegetable garden, and the genuine seasonal products that our extraordinary Chef uses every day to create their menu items.

On the splendid shaded terrace overlooking the swimming pool, guests can settle in to enjoy the casual atmosphere of our The Greenery & Pool Bar, where they can indulge in a delicious breakfast buffet, complete with international options, including homemade cakes, sweet and savoury dishes, local cured meats and cheeses, seasonal fruit, traditional Tuscan products, and organic and gluten free items. Every day, we offer our guests light menu options and special children’s menu items, which are always made fresh using local ingredients, including vegetables from our garden. The best place to relax in the evening is by the pool, surrounded by the greenery of the park. Other dining options include the Bamba Chill and Bambaissa seaside restaurants, and the La Fontana and La Sirena restaurants for dinner. |
