The Aquafan Water park in Riccione has been offering water fun for young and old for over 20 years.

Water fun for the small ones too

The Aquafan water park is a water amusement park that has attractions for smaller children:The little ones can splash around in the 50 centimetre deep “Elephant Pool”, slide down the enormous pink elephant slide (child-friendly) and let themselves be sprayed by the elephant’s trunk.

Children who are a bit bigger can head to the “South Pole”, a pool with two three meter long slides guarded by an oversized polar bear. Kids will find large cartoon characters on the Cartoon Network Beach as well as more slides made just for kids, some with closed pipes. Animations for children are held here daily: for example dancing to music in the water. Children are encouraged to play quietly in the shade during the hottest time of the day and to paint for example.

Super-Slide, relaxing in the water and the Foam Bath

Older children will enjoy unforgettable hours in the water at Aquafan. The various slides are the park’s main attraction. They cover a total distance of three kilometres. There are very fast, steep versions where it is possible to attain a speed of 65 – 70 km/hour, semi-closed slides that spiral down from a gigantic tower- semi-closed, semi-open slides that snake their way down, or ones that end on a platform only to continue down the next steep tube.
A bit more relaxing is a ride on the fat rubber tires down the 110 metre long „Surfing Hills“ , down the hilly mountainside. Another option is a lazy ride down the current of an artificial river, a swim in the wave pool or a back massage under the waterfall.
The foam bath that is created in one of the big pools daily is another source of entertainment. There are restaurants on the premises as well as picnic areas. There is direct access from Aquafan to the zoo and the Dolphinarium Oltremare.

Opening times: Daily from April through September (please inquire exact times according to season), 9:00 – 18:30.
Admission: Adult 23 Euro, Children 6-11 years 18 Euro. Admission is free on the following day. Afternoon discount (from 15:00) 15 Euro.
