Here at the Hotel Mediterraneo Club Benessere in Bellaria-Igea Marina, we offer our guests a unique and stylish holiday experience complete with a wide range of comforts and amenities designed specifically for families, all with a special touch of Romagna hospitality.

Our mascot Giagù is the king of an entire world dedicated to our younger guests, Giagulandia! An indoor room where our entertainment staff offer an extensive programme of activities. The children’s activities include lots of fun and games at the pool from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., movies at the Children’s Cinema, lunch and dinner as a group, the children’s snack, games among the inflatables, baby dance parties, and even entertainment with fire eaters, jugglers and dancers, for a never-ending fun-filled experience that lasts from the morning to the evening!

And while the children are busy with our staff, their parents can take advantage of our Mediterraneo Benessere Spa, which features a 35 °C heated salt water pool, an extreme hot tub, a sauna, a Turkish bath, a regenerating cold waterfall, cold mist, an ice fountain, experience showers, a salt garden, a sun deck, an outdoor swimming pool with water heated to 30 °C, and a gym. For maximum relaxation, guests can also indulge in our spa treatments and massages.

And since no holiday in Romagna would be complete without spending some time by the sea, our guests will find the fine sands of our affiliated beach facility just 200 meters from the hotel, complete with an exclusive Lounge Bar, beach volleyball, beach tennis, and bocce courts, a fitness area, and lots of fun entertainment services.

This room boasts a captivating design with light coloured furnishings. In the room’s entryway, guests will immediately find a large wardrobe and a spacious bathroom with a shower cubicle, followed by a double bed for mum and dad, with the possibility of adding a 2nd and 3rd bed upon request.

The Platinum suite is undoubtedly the Junior suite that guarantees the most comfortable and elegant holiday experience. In the entryway, guests will find a large open wardrobe and a bathroom with a hot tub and TV. The room itself is furnished with a double bed and a large screen TV, with the possibility of adding a 2nd and 3rd bed upon request.

Our suites are all extremely spacious, and are furnished in an exclusive and elegant fashion. They consist of two adjoining rooms, including a living area furnished with a large screen TV and a sofa that can be converted into a children’s bed, and a separate double bedroom complete with a bathroom and hot tub.

Our mascot, Giagù, our entertainment staff welcome all our guests’ children to their fabulous colourful world full of fun toys and games: Giagulandia.

In addition to the colourful indoor room, children also have access to the Children’s Cinema, and can engage in lots of fun games and activities at the pool at various times.

Mini Club

For children over 4 years of age, the day begins with fun and games at the pool from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and continues after lunch with films at the Children’s Cinema, and games and workshops in the Giagulandia indoor room. At 4:00 p.m. there’s a super delicious snack to recharge, and after dinner the evening continues with the fun Baby Dance party, and the cabaret with child actors, not to mention other exciting exhibitions with fire eaters, jugglers and dancers.

Individual babysitting services are available upon request.

Hi kids! I’m Giagù, the mascot here at the Hotel Mediterraneo. Let me tell you a bit about myself!

I’m a cross between a jaguar and a tyrannosaurus… so, officially, I would be a “jaguarosaur”. But don’t worry, kids… contrary to what you might be thinking, I wouldn’t even hurt a fly. In fact, here they like to call me “the hotel’s nice big kitty”.

Every day I like to entertain the kids by telling them interesting stories, like when Peppa and I got married, and by organising various activities with the entertainment staff, such as evening shows, and parties for any children who have their birthdays during their stay with us.

I’ll be wait for you with open paws!

Every morning, we offer our guests a large breakfast consisting of traditional Romagna sweets, cured meats, cheeses, and a wide selection of honeys and jams, which is followed up at lunch and dinnertime with traditional entrées prepared right before their eyes, thanks to our open kitchen!

For children we offer special Children’s Menus, with the possibility of eating together with the entertainment staff in the Children’s Restaurant (from June to September). At 4:00 p.m. we offer a delicious Children’s Snack to recharge!
