Riccione
Clowns, mimes, colours, illusions, sounds and magic: it is difficult to summarize all the acts to be seen at Palcobaleno, the theatre show with many forms on stage at the Tent Theatre in Riccione over summer 2011. This splendid venue by the sea will be the setting for 34 alternating spectaculars designed mainly for children, but also for adults, with excellent performances by the Compagnia del Serraglio, Maan and many other companies. A taste of what is on offer? This is easily done. In August, you will be able to see the Arlecchinate (The Harlequinades), an exciting puppet show adapted to suit modern tastes. The antics of Mirtillo and Pizzico in preparing a Neapolitan pizza result in one of the craziest pizzas you have ever seen – you have to try it to believe it! Then there is Circoparola and the Tent Circus, improvised events and theatrical workshops. The season of shows is designed for all those families with children who are on holiday on the Adriatic Riviera, and will be a unique opportunity to enjoy fantasy and entertainment, designed to stimulate the creativity of the audience. The Riccione Tent Theatre is situated very close to the Riccione Spa Centre, near the cycle route for bath 44, and is easy to reach either on foot, by bike or by car. Riccione promenade is a pedestrian zone, but you can park in the square opposite the theatre, or else in the underground car-park 300 metres from the stage. Tickets for the Palcobaleno cost 12 Euros full price and 9 Euros for concessions, while children and youngsters up to 14 years of age can go in for just 5 Euros! All details of the shows, special arrangements, promotions and discounts can be found on the site: www.palcobaleno.it .
