List for the mountain suitcase |
Wonderful! We’ll leave tomorrow! My first weekend on the snow finally! While I am joyfully writing of our next departure in the diary, while dad is coming back home after the mechanic checks the car and the tyres, mom is grappling with the difficult and exating task of making tracks. Not only hers but also mines, and, as I understand, also daddy’s… But time to think of everything is always little and so mum has been reduced to deal with luggage only on the eve of our departure. Oh oh…she runs the risk of forgetting something … that can be important for me! Maybe I can help her by making a list of indispensable things to put in my luggage. The title could be "If you are in a hurry to leave and my suitcase still you have to do, here's mom what you must not to forget to". Two pairs of trousers, two shirts and two sweaters, please choose the warmest, so I’ll not catch cold. The boots to walk in the woods with dad. And the après-ski boots, perhaps it snows… and the slippers for the evening at the hotel. All Christmas gifts: ski suit, the jacket wind, the goretex gloves, ski boots, skis and the sticks! Because I’ll learn to ski… Ah the little safety helmet! Many pants, vests, t-shirts, wool socks, but many because if I’ll fall on the snow I’ll get wet through… The sunglasses, a protective cream, cacao butter because we’ll be at high altitude! I would say you can also add a pair of jeans and the red sweaters, dad said that there is a miniclub with funny parties! And then the book and the comics I am reading, and sudoku to do together. Juices and snacks for the trip, please… About the heavy jacket, the gym shoes, the scarf, the gloves and the hat, I’ll think, preparing them on the chair and putting them for the journey. Now mom I’ll bring you the list, so my luggage at least is made, you can finish earlier and we all will well sleep. Remember, tomorrow the call is for seven o’clock! Ah the alarm-clock!
