But it is also very important to remove any doubt about how many food the child should eat. A balanced diet follows qualitative and quantitative criteria. Then, starting from the cardinal principle that we must eat as much as possible varied, here are a number of good rules to avoid in the future the forced strict regimes to lose weight in excess. For the child who takes regularly exercise the recruitment of about 2200 calories a day is recommended, while the sedentary child must not exceed the 1500-1800 calories. It is also essential to check that a 60-65% of these come from carbohydrates, 10-15% from protein and 25% from fat. Let’s avoid saturated animal fats, such as butter, soft drinks and too many sweets. The fruit is ideal for snacks, alternating with tarts of jam or with ham sandwiches. Let’s remember that vegetables are necessary everyday.
