The development of the taste sense begins to structure since the first infancy and is therefore very important to cultivate correct alimentary habits from all the members of the family. The child must be constantly addressed to a healthy alimentary style. It is important to establish some fundamental rules, that regard the behaviors of all the family: we eat at the same time, at the table, with the television off, in order to avoid distractions. When children are from 2 to 4 years old, do not like food changes, they use to love a food, then to abandon it and to choose another one, that becomes the preferred one. These behaviors can create worries in the parents and induce to force the child or to feed him too long. It is better to avoid imposing foods to the children. Parents shold propose new foods with regularity; if the child refuses the news meal, they should try newly after some time. It is important to listen to the children sense of self-regulation: if parents are able to correctly interpret childrens signs of hunger-satiety, they can better satisfy the physiological the pangs of hunger, without excesses.
